Dubai Metro is one of the most prestigious Metro Project in the world. Pranav has the unique distinction to be awarded the work of Formwork for Piers at Dubai Metro. This prestigious assignment comprises of approximately 70 sets of Formwork Approx. height of straight portion of Pier was ranges from 7.0m to 10.0m.
A high concrete pressure of 150 K N/m2 was considered in the design for pour rate of concrete. High Tensile fasteners were used to prevent formwork from leakage or deformation during concreting.
The formwork is leak proof with overlaps of joint ends. The entire stretch of 52 Kms in phase-I shall be cast with Formwork from Pranav. The project is being executed by Japan Turkey Metro JV under the design of Systra, France.
