The Delhi Metro has been awarded the ISO 14001 certification for environment-friendly construction and operations. This makes it the second metro system in the world to achieve this standard, and the first to receive it in the construction stage itself.
In all, Pranav Construction Systems has supplied formwork to cast more than 1000 piers and pier caps and several hundred segments for sub-structures and super-structures for cast in-situ and precast elements.
In some areas, to maintain unobstructed traffic, Pranav has supplied portal steel structures above the traffic. The full load of cross girder concrete weight is borne by these portals.
