LAUNCHER
Pranav was awarded the fabrication of Launcher. The Launcher was of 86.5m Span, 25m Max. (adjustable) Height; Weighing 450 Tons with built up Box-Girder on 4 corners. 100% Radiography was carried out on the Launcher components. 10000 holes were drilled for bolting and assembling the components. The complete assembling, was carried out at site. The basic design was guided by the Consultant, and detailed fabrication Drawings and fabrication were prepared by Pranav.
LONG LINE
The Long Line method of casting was followed for the IDEB Delhi Metro. The typical segment was 9.0m wide x 3.0m long x 3.0m depth with single cell. There were 11 intermediate segments plus 2 Pier segments in the 37.0m span. The components included Soffit beds for full span, one pair of side forms, 2 sets gantry and inner forms, 5 sets of Bulk Heads of 5 types and 1 set of Pier segment. There were over 2000 components to be manufactured totaling about 300 Tons for 5 long lines Including machining items. The work also included Circular Pier & Pier Cap of various types for which standard Modular Panels were used along with make up pieces to cater to different shapes/sizes.
