PRECAST ROOF MOULD
India's first private International Airport is coming up in Bangalore and major portion of the work including construction of the Terminal Building is under way. The Terminal Building will have S shaped from finished Precast concrete Roof which in turn called for specially designed Formwork. Pranav was preferred for fabrication of this critical Roof Mould which is 7m x 24m long. Each mould segment is made up of ‘S’ shaped Steel Soffit of 24 mtr. supported by Truss. The fabrication tolerances allowed was 0 mm for matching surfaces of shutters. Each mould in fully assembled condition weighs about 147 Tons and is designed to take upto 50 repetitions.
