Taisei Corporation chose Pranav for the design, fabrication & erection of formwork for 4 Nos V- Pier for their Airport job at Doha. Approx Tonnage=160T. V-shaped pier of 8 M high in the form of V was designed for concreting in a single pour @ 150KN/sqm. .Approximate cross section was 2.5m x1.4M ( varying ).
Voided Slab is constructed above V pier - 1.8M thick ribbed slab ,in straight & curved plans.Approximately 900T of shuttering consisting of staging,Tranverse & Longitudinal beams,soffit & side panels,inner forms etc.
Circular columns for the same project with a concrete pour rate pressure of 150KN/sqm was designed : Ht 9.6M Dia varying from 2.0 to 3.0M .Also Elliptical shaped piers of circular ends with straight panels in between .Dia-2.15M x traight portion varying fron 200 to 1200mm.
